ERA Living-University House Retirement project

The University House in Wallingford is a large five story retirement facility. MRJ remodeled all the existing corridors, alcoves, elevator lobbies, and community meeting rooms. The scope of work included removal of all floor coverings, wall coverings, and miscellaneous casework in the common areas. These areas were then re-painted and re-carpeted. We also installed two granite shelves at the entry doors to each of the three hundred apartments. Proper planning, adherence to the schedule and very specific safety requirements were key to a successful project as residents could not be denied access to their apartment during construction.
