Star Rentals-Seattle facility
MRJ constructed a new 5,690 square foot facility for Star Rentals. The project was designed by Synthesis PLLC Architects.
The project was built in 6 months and required a dynamic coordination with SDOT, SPU and SCL to ensure that all utility connections were in place in a timely manner upon completion of the building. MRJ coordinated additional hazard evaluations between the facility operations and Seattle Fire Department requiring special permits.
The existing infrastructure in the right of way required creative solutions to integrate solutions for both storm water management and street improvements. Not only were storm water infiltration planters provided, but also storm water filtering and a duplex pump station was required to connect the site to the storm water main on 4th Ave S.
