Bar Dojo SAM

Located within the Seattle Art Museum, Bar Dojo is a 4,300-square-foot full-service restaurant featuring a contemporary blend of Asian and Mexican cuisine. The project included interior demolition and complete tenant improvements, including new flooring, decorative lighting, custom booths and banquette seating, a private dining room, indoor-outdoor patio seating, and high-end architectural finishes that create a modern and inviting dining experience.

MRJ joined the project during preconstruction to provide budgeting, constructability review, scheduling, and procurement support. The team worked closely with the owner, design team, and specialty trade partners to coordinate installation of custom finishes and long-lead materials while maintaining uninterrupted operations within the Seattle Art Museum. Through proactive planning, detailed coordination, and disciplined schedule management, MRJ delivered a high-quality hospitality space that successfully balances functionality, durability, and guest experience.
