Everett Golf & Country Club

Established in 1910, the Everett Golf and Country Club in Everett, WA, recently underwent a comprehensive renovation to modernize its facilities and enhance member services. Club leaders aimed to expand family dining options and update elements to create a premier private club experience that connected more intentionally with the golf amenities and surrounding beautiful landscape. Managed by MRJ, the project was completed on time and within budget, thanks to proactive communication and meticulous planning.

The renovation transformed 80% of the club's exterior, significantly improving family dining options and increasing seating capacity. These enhancements have created flexible spaces that support better logistics and elevate the overall member experience. The club remained operational throughout construction, with golf activities continuing normal capacity. Construction activities were planned around special events to allow continued revenue streams.

Collaboration with the design team and club was essential as MRJ developed detailed plans to seamlessly tie into the existing structure and utilities while bringing the building up to code. Construction crews operated “behind the scenes,” creating separate work areas and barriers to maintain a member thoroughfare. MRJ provided consistent seasoned field oversight, leading to the installation of quality work and collaborative problem-solving, which kept the schedule on track and the project within budget.

The project included over 24,000 square feet of dining rooms, locker rooms, member lounges, Pro Shop, simulators, and bag storage/workshop, along with the replacement of the exterior façade. Through collaborative efforts and a service mindset, MRJ exceeded expectations and delivered a club experience that led to better membership engagement.
