Garage Outdoor Dining and Bar

The Garage Patio project was an addition to the existing Garage Billiards and Bowling in the Capital Hill neighborhood of Seattle. MRJ took the existing patio and leveled the sloped site before building a structural steel canopy, complete with outdoor bar, restaurant seating and patio heaters. The entire structure was built to mimic the industrial feel of the existing building.

The biggest challenge on the project was ensuring the building remained fully operational throughout construction. Each day before the business opened, the site had to be closed and both building entrances made clear and accessible. Located in one of Seattle’s most pedestrian friendly neighborhoods, safety was established as a top priority on the project.
